Eastern Railroad Discussion > New Albany, IN activity?Date: 12/05/19 16:06 New Albany, IN activity? Author: P I've heard rumblings of activity about trackwork in New Albany (former Monon). Didnt the Pillsbury plant close that used rail service at it's plant in the northern part of town? What is going on that may stimulate trackwork?

They are primarily a bottling plant owned by Sazerac and are quickly growing and need rail for continued growth. Inbound Alcohol appears to be primary commodity to be handled but may be opportunity for some grain in and ddg out if distilling operations take place there.
