Eastern Railroad Discussion > A Few D&H Catches TodayDate: 01/12/20 17:04 A Few D&H Catches Today Author: train1275 Sunday January 12, 2020
A very sunny and pleasant day but not real productive with the camera. Only got a few today. 1. NS 9588 leads Train 30T southbound at South Schenectady about to duck under the Mariaville Road overpass. In the background the rear of the train is going under the CSX main to Selkirk. 2. Now late in the day and closer to Binghamton is 16R in fading light coming through Unadilla, NY. It sure looks far more like a pleasant late Fall day in Upstate New York than mid-January ! Power is NS 9636, 9185 and 9668 with a good sized train. At right is the stone freight house and at left is the 1903 built depot. Passenger service ended in 1963. 3. Last light of the day catches 16R rolling into Oneonta. He has a green here and no work so it's a straight shot today. Date: 01/12/20 17:06 Re: A Few D&H Catches Today Author: train1275 |
