Allegheny Valley Railroad 3004
Author: RuleG

Upon going home after spending a few hours in the office today, I saw Allegheny Valley Railroad 3004 on the point of a transfer freight about one mile east of the Amtrak station in Downtown Pittsburgh.  East of this location, it will diverge off Norfolk Southern's Pittsburgh Line at "Bloom" interlocking to enter onto the AVR/CSX P & W Subdivision.

AVR 3004 is an SD40-3 which was previously Kansas City Southern 614.  Prior to that, it was Chicago & North Western SD45 970.
