Eastern Railroad Discussion > North Shore Line's Contested Contract Issue: Status?Date: 01/13/20 08:36 North Shore Line's Contested Contract Issue: Status? Author: aehouse Last year it was widely reported that North Shore and its related northern Pennsylvania railroads had lost out on the lines' operating contract, though the matter was in the courts. Have seen or read nothing further on it, and North Shore and its other lines (Juniata Valley, Lycoming Valley, Nittany and Bald Eagle) seem to be rolling on as usual.
Anyone know a status or resolution? Art House Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 01/13/20 08:37 by aehouse. Date: 01/13/20 14:51 Re: North Shore Line's Contested Contract Issue: Status? Author: ShortlinesUSA They got beat out fair and square, yet continue to tie it up in politics and legal muck. That's better than any link will tell you.
