Here are a few shots of the Indiana Eastern Railroad's turn to Fernald, Ohio and back with recently painted GP38-2 #5255 leading. The train left Cottage Grove today around 11:45am which was about an hour earlier than my last visit. The 5255 is an ex NS GP38-2. Enjoy!

A few shots around Cottage Grove, Indiana

Needs a herald on that blank yellow end ...... the one on that sign would be great.

I love green and yellow locomotives, but I don't know about this one. A nose logo, or something to break up all that yellow on the front, is sorely needed on this one.

I Like the trestle shot.

Ohiorailfan, how many different railroads have you shot at this point? Your coverage of some off the wall stuff is impressive!

I don't know? I like it. With the solid yellow ends it would also be compliant with British Railway yellow safety panels, just a little too large though.

That was my thought exactly. I am sitting less than an hour from the Indiana Eastern. I have drove around parts of it only a few times and have seen a train a total of zero times. Ohiorailfan you have an impressive ability to find the elusive shortline trains.

Other than the cheesy lettering font, looks fine. Nice shots.
