4. CSX SD50-3 8568 (ex-SBD 8568, 3000 HP SD50-3 upgraded 2009 by HLS) in Fayetteville, NC on March 7, 2013

5. CSX SD40-2 8884 (rebuilt from CR/PC/PRR SD40) and HLCX SD40-2 7177 at West Springfield, MA on August 2, 2012

Love those SD40-2's ...... *sigh* ...... sad to think they'll probably be gone sooner than later, but, that's progress.

I actually think we'll hang onto some SD40's.....too reliable to set aside..although the fancy rebuild that some have gotten may get too spendy if the emission rules get stricter which could put all the old power on borrowed time sadly.
