NS CB10 and Amtrak train #42

Hard to go wrong hanging out on any of the pedestrian overpasses in Altoona. Here the NS local headed for the Cove Secondary and Holidaysburg (and interchange with a waiting Everett RR) passes Amtrak's "Pennsylvainian" as it does the station stop.

Nice one Roger ! Great to see that you can still shoot off those bridges without being enclosed in chain link fencing. Those covered hoppers on CB10 look like they are brand new.

Rod, they were. After dropping the HRS cars that were on the rear they took them into Holidaysburg yard, I'm guessing for storage.
