Eastern Railroad Discussion > NBER Chase on a Snowy DayDate: 02/07/20 16:33 NBER Chase on a Snowy Day Author: eastpenn23 The Nittany and Bald Eagle RR (NBER) has seen good coverage on this board the past month. I chased them on Friday morning from the NS interchange at Tyrone to Bellefonte, PA. It was a dark and snowy day, but I made the best of it.
1 - LVRR 9052 (GP20) and NBER 1804 (GP10) wait for NS C42 to arrive and begin the interchange 2 - Amtrak Train 42 passes by around 10:45 3 - C42 arrives with the second geep shooting out some smoke Date: 02/07/20 16:41 Re: NBER Chase on a Snowy Day Author: eastpenn23 4 - Nose to Nose
5 - Interesting loads next to a Southern hopper. I looked them up later and found out they are called "FlexSteel" and used in pipelines. They were dropped off near Wingate, PA 6 - NS 20R rolls by Date: 02/07/20 16:45 Re: NBER Chase on a Snowy Day Author: eastpenn23 Date: 02/07/20 16:49 Re: NBER Chase on a Snowy Day Author: eastpenn23 Date: 02/08/20 00:26 Re: NBER Chase on a Snowy Day Author: WLE2679 Nice photos and catch!
