Just a normal train these days.
Author: howeld

Years ago I remember any train with over 400 axles was big.   Over 600 was rare and likely to stall on Bellefontaine Hill.  But now long trains are normal.  Things change, but sound of the diamonds at Quincy is still the same.   Maybe someday even the clacking over the diamond will be gone changed by one of the newer flange diamonds.

East bound CSX at Quincy.
Unknown Train ID.
656 axles with mid DPU.

The way people were running the crossing, I thought Florida, but the snow made me think otherwise.

If you had to sit and wait forever; just once; and had to be somewhere
urgent - that's why people try to beat the crossing - can't blame them.
