Il Terminal Belt Railway

That is the name the new operators are using for the line from Heyworth Il to Clinton Il. The track is leased from the CN. They ran a loaded grain train from the Tate and Lyle elevator last week. Windchill outside was around zero.
Shot 1 was leaving Heyworth
Shot 2 at Wapella - notice the old critter
Shot 3 - sorry a little fuzzy- my camera went crazy just as I wanted to catch him going by the old alco

No I don't know the heritage. The engines showed up a few months ago and I love the paint scheme

They sure look like former IC GP10's of the same number. The switch engine may be former UP (SP or SSW)....
