New Hope Railroad (PA) Freight Activity
Author: birdman

The New Hope Railroad (formerly the New Hope and Ivyland) was busy shifting cars at Ivyland, PA this morning.  The locomotive is a GP9R that is painted and lettered for subsidiary Pennsylvania Notheastern RR.  The third photo was very badly backlit so I turned it into a black and white photo on the computer to salvage it.

Nice catches and especially nice salvage on that last one.

Your black and white image is first-rate. Sometimes (like this) color just won't come out right, but black and white can save the image.

So then the New Hope (& Ivyland) and the Pennsylvania Northeast are under common ownership?
