A few from last Sunday 5/10 around Harrisburg
Author: sscannella

A few NS special-paint units were observed around Harrisburg late last Sunday afternoon (Mother's Day).  21T had the 4000 third out seen at Cove.  Then the first 12R to originate in Columbia, SC (rather than Linwood, NC, which is in the process of being downgraded), made it to Harrisburg about 24 hours later, and was seen at Division St with 1800 in the lead.

The Steelton local, running with the HO23 crew with a GP59E (in Operation Lifesaver paint) / slug set, was ahead of the 12R and crossed the Susquehanna River on Rockville bridge first to enter the west end of Enola Yard.

12R followed shortly behind after a stop and top at the Harrisburg fuel pad.   As an added bonus, in addition to the 1800, the S&A unit - 1065 - was third in the power consist.
