Rock Island 4310 Additional Work 21 May 2020
Author: cozephyr

Rock Island 4310, GP38-2, owned by Robert Riley was given additional attention by Southern Pride Equipment Painting.  Unit was first painted Rock Island blue in April 2020.  Painter Jacob Southers was cleaning up after additional work.  Painters left for their Georgia homes 21 May 2020.

Very nice! What was the additional painting done on the unit?

The painters didn't say as they were busy cleaning up.  Note all the light and cab window protective coverings.

Looking very nice. Understand the pride in doing this too as I painted two small locomotives, four passenger cars and a caboose for the DCF&B Railroad at Dodge City, Ks.  Best part is pulling the tape and seeing the finished product.

Hey it's a WATCO service track! Straight rail dirt road crossing equals service track, many spots in Kansas.
