I'm watching golf at the TCP River Highlands. What's the RR next to the golf course? Valley RR?

Providence and Worcester - service resumed on this line (wethersfield Secondary) between Hartford and Middletown about a year ago.

Service has indeed returned but im not adware of any customers on that part of the line between Hartford and Cromwell.
P&W is currently rehab the whole line with tie replacement and new ballast.
Word has it that once things are done the CSO train (G&W) (one each way) between West Springfield, MA/Hartford and Cedar Hill in North Haven, Ct will be pulled
off of Amtrak in favor of the Airline route between North Haven and Hartford via Middletown.
This has all come about due to P&Ws new owner G&W.

1) I thought there was a lumber yard in Rocky Hill somewhere that was getting cars?

2) Right now, a train running from Hartford to Cedar Hill via Middletown would have to reverse direction in Middletown. Is there a plan to address that, or would they just run it with engines on both ends? A reverse move along deKoven Drive would not be welcomed by the people of Middletown.

Yes, ur right about the lumber yard in Rocky Hill, Sat image shows some cars
in their yard. I forgot about them.

As for Middletown they would have to operate push-pull to continue north.
I gotta believe that these two trains would operate during the night

CSX's Q424 handles a huge block of cars for CSO into West Springfield, MA with alot of
empty steel hoppers for the big scrap company in North Haven.

Could get real interesting if in fact they do take those trains off the Hartford Line.
Their's even been times when P&W has come during the night to pickup loaded stone from
Tilcon in Wallingford. Caught them 2x times the pass month or so.
