Sunday was one of the rare morning trips out of Romney, WV north to Green Spring, WV,. 

1) and 2) Northbound at Grace Chapel Road near Springfield, WV.

3) The obligatory shot of the Potomac Eagle crossing Rt. 28 in Springfield, WV

1) and 2) At the South Branch RR yard in Green Spring, WV.  They reversed direction and returned to Romney. As they reverse direction, they passed the SBVR #92 in the yard.

3) The return leg with the #722 trailing at Washington Bottom Road.

Thank you Tim for the great photos of the South Branch Valley R.R. and the Potomac Eagle.  I love those B&O shots for sure as I remember scenes like that when I was a young man back in the 50's and 60's.

And the railroad thoughtfully provided a buffer gondola to insulate the crew from the hazardous materials. ;^)
