I used to work with an Amish machine supervisor who raised and sold horses. Other than some young Amish boys that drink and drive, are there examples of Amish hit by trains? I don't recall any in this neck of the woods.

Baird > http://www.erstwhilepublications.com In my 45 years along the Reading line I don’t recall any Mennonite accidents involving trains. There have been several farming accidents though that have killed. One of the most tragic was a toddler who was tangled up in machinery that one of his older brothers had accidentally started while playing on it. Truly tragic. Their buggies are becoming more progressive, with some illuminated with LED ground effects now. Hard as heck to hit something that looks like a UFO cruising down a backroad!! Posted from iPhone |
