Awesome picture!! Any idea why it was at the Harrisburg station? It had already been relegated to freight service by that time.

My favorite bicentennial scheme. It sure is great seeing color shots of it. Thank you again.

4800 led the NRHS convention charter circle trip Harrisburg-Philadelphia-Perryville-Harrisburg with boarding and detraining at Harrisburg, Lancaster, and Philadelphia.  The train was scheduled to wye at Harrisburg, but a minor freight derailment blocked the wye, so 4800 ran around the train.

They sure did a nice job on the 4800. How long did she keep that scheme?
