RBMN OCS at Duryea, PA
Author: sscannella

Reading, Blue Mountain, and Northern owner Andy Mueller ran an Office Car Special out of North Reading to Pittston, PA for the Independence Day Holiday, with their recently-acquired former NS F-units.   Friday it ran into Jim Thorpe (see Gary's / CR2581's and Jim6300loco's posts below).  Saturday the 4th it made a quick 2 hour jaunt up north from Jim Thorpe to their former Lehigh Valley Coxton Yard near Pittston, PA (between Wilkes-Barre / Scranton).  Here it is just a couple miles from its terminus along appropriately named Railroad Street in Duryea, PA, on the former Lehigh Valley Mountain cut-off.   Some time on Sunday it will be returning south...I'm not sure if it is just back to Jim Thorpe, or Port Clinton, or all the way to North Reading.
