1. 30T comes south with CN 8959 (SD70M-2) and 2682 (C44-9W) leading at Alplaus Road about to enter Mohawk Yard (Glenville, NY)

2. The going away view.

3. CP 2229 (GP20C-ECO) is on the D40 leaving Mohawk Yard to go back to Saratoga. He's met with the NS 30T and the NS 22K is on his heels.

4. NS 22K bound for Ayer, MA is approaching Pierce Road at Ushers, NY on the last lap into Mechanicville. Power is NS 1128, 9200 and 8174.

5. The going away view as he is about to slip under I-87 the Northway.

6. A little later in the day 22K has parked on the east side of the Hudson with the train now waiting for a crew to go east.

7. Just by chance happened to catch the Pan Am job out of Rotterdam Junction with 7523, 7556? and 7541 going through the woods at Elnora (between Mohawk Yard and Mechanicville) bound for Mechanicville.

8. Last train of the daylight, the 16R comes north at Otego with NS 4073 and 9914 leading 7 set-offs for Oneonta on the head end.

Very nice documentation! Hopefully, in the not too distant future now that Pan Am appears to officially be up for sale by Tim Mellon, the crappy PAS stick rail track in your photo #6 will be rehabbed to look like the CP track in you photo #4. Also, perhaps one won't be able to catch a photo of a 22K (the hottest train on PAS) tied down at Ferry St for hours waiting on a Pan Am crew to slog eastward for 150 or miles arriving at Ayer by 0600 give or take.
