I have been down there a few times. The area is neat place to go, see and explore. There is alot of history in that area from mining, logging and railroads, etc. Besides going to Hawks Nest. There is Thurmond, Hinton, Prince which is one my favorites places to stop at and check out old Art Deco station that was going to be used as example for all C&O stations, but never happened and the Chessie cat head on the floor at Prince. It's worth going down there visiting the area.
