Eastern Railroad Discussion > Striped noses in Northern Virginia (IT and NKP)Date: 08/11/20 13:56 Striped noses in Northern Virginia (IT and NKP) Author: ddavies I wasn't going to go out railfanning today, until I heard the HU that the Glow Worm was leading 211. I made a bee line out the B-line to get 211 at Cedarville. On the way out I heard 740 call the signal at B39, but did not find out what it was until I got to talk to someone at Calverton. After shooting 211 a couple times, I went down to Bealton, VA, on the main line. From ATCS I could see that 740 was being held at Manassas for 211 to pass him. I went to Calverton to catch both.
Four pics of the Glow Worm, and two of the NKP. http://members.trainorders.com/ddavies/News/news.htm Date: 08/12/20 04:07 Re: Striped noses in Northern Virginia (IT and NKP) Author: MdRailfan Three heritages in short order, what a day!!!
