What is USSC?

In what state(s) is/are Clewiston and Fort Pierce are located?

The US Sugar Company used to run up to Fort Pierce FL on Mondays and Wednesdays, leaving Clewiston around breakfast time.  Arriving FEC-Fort Pierce in the mid-afternoon. This is the off-season for sugar harvesting, so it is likely that schedule has changed.

I haven't been up there in a while, this info is from last year.

This is uncalled for.

Very often, places in different states can have the same place names, so I am not going to waste time looking up something on mapquest in the absence of other geographic information.

Recently, I started threads mentioning a couple of smaller communities in Pennsylvania.  Knowing that not all TO members are familiar with Pennsylvania places, I specified the state in the subject line.  It is not unreasonable to expect others to do the same when lesser-known places are mentioned in threads.

Agree with all of that.  I do feel, though, that unlike the "duh" comment,  posters don't do this out of malice.  It's just an oversight on
their part.  The issue comes up occasionally, as long-timers on here know.
