Eastern Railroad Discussion > Dillon, Pembroke, Hamlet CSX Train TrafficDate: 09/13/20 13:15 Dillon, Pembroke, Hamlet CSX Train Traffic Author: Northern How many trains run through Dillon, S.C. on a given day? Do any come down from Hamlet over the diamond or swing on to the A-line from the Hamlet line? How many freights run during the day? Is Pembroke, N.C. busier?

A pair of manifests runs Hamlet-Waycross. It looks like Andrews is served out of Charleston, so there would be few trains running across the diamond.
I would think Pembroke has more trains. There's a Hamlet-Rocky Mount pair, a turn to Maxton, and a turn to Wilmington. http://railroadfan.com/wiki/index.php/CSX_Train_Symbols |
