Fall in D&H Land
Author: train1275

Saturday October 17, 2020
60 years ago today was the first day of the Erie Lackawanna

But today we are up on the D&H for another wonderful sunny Saturday Fall day of train watching.

1. NS 23K  with 9420, 9950 and 4173 come south at Leonard Road near Maryland, NY. The colors of autumn in Upstate New York are still present.

2. 23K splits the remains of the old automatics on the south edge of Bainbridge as the Conductor gives a hearty greeting !

3.  Something a bit different below the tunnel near the site of the former Dyes interlocking at Moot Town Road.

4. At Moot Town a little closer in and widened out.

5.  A little ways up the line the 30T comes down too, caught here at Cannistra Crossing between Sidney and Bainbridge. Power was NS 4095 and 7653.
