Eastern Railroad Discussion > Q436 - Just for the Fun of It - same train, 3 different viewsDate: 11/20/20 16:12 Q436 - Just for the Fun of It - same train, 3 different views Author: bob01566 I had a couple of hours this morning and I thought it would be fun to try and photograph the same train in a number of different ways at different locations.
The only train I found was Q436 which was coming east after working the CSX yard in Palmer MA. The first two shots are at MP79 and the third is from the bridge at MP64. #1 - Looking west at MP79, the east end of the Palmer yard, 436 has just appeared rounding the curve in the distance. #2 - Again at MP79, 436 crosses over from the siding to the single track main. #3 - A long telephoto view of 436, with a lot of jello air, as it crosses over from the single track to double at MP64 in East Brookfield MA. What's that for?

Used in the event of a cab signal failure, to indicate that track is clear to the next interlocking. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 11/20/20 21:05 by pennsy3750.
