How is this project coming along? Early construction pictures looked great.

Any idea on opening date?

Today, I was passing through Cordele and stopped at the truck stop at I-75, there was a CSX train heading north on the Fitzgerald sub. I couldn't get a good look at it, but it looked like it was all LP tanks. I couldn't see placards. My question, would there be such a thing as a unit train of LPgas loaded or mty?
Thanks

Sam

No, it would be an ethanol train you saw.

CSX, BNSF, etc each have a marketing unit specifically dedicated to propane and butane transportation. The hazmat code for these two is 1075.

These products are stripped out /fractioned from wet natural gas, among other sources, and sold for subsequent processing.

I was there on Nov. 17. It was close to being finished, with a little more work to do. Parking lot paving and landscaping hadn't been completed

BNSF periodically runs solid unit trains of LPG through my home town of Palmer Lake, CO. The last period of time it ran from Canada to Hutchinson, KS.
