P87 passes through Jarrett's tunnel on the Old Fort Loops near Ridgecrest, NC on a snowy Friday afternoon.  1-8-2021.

P87 had only wood chips.  This shot looks like more, but there were only 8 loaded chips on this train.

Congratualtions on the IOTD. Thanks for sharing. I visted the loops in 2013 but was not fortunate to see a train there. You have more snow on the ground than up here in southwestern PA.

A really nice photo.  Thanks for getting out to take it.

Wood chips headed for Canton, NC.  If that paper mill should shut down there won't be much left around Asheville.

Wood chips come from East Tennessee too.

It's a black & white image were it not for the headlights and the chips.
