Glo-worm on Rockville
Author: rbenko

From a recent trip with my bro Steve (TO handle stevelv) and my uncle Vinny "Boom Batz" (TO handle vjb4877) to the Bridgeview Inn at Marysville, PA.  We were rewarded after three miserably (and typical of the time of year) dark and dreary days with a beautiful morning on December 23, 2020.  The highlight that day was catching the Glo-worm on a stack train headed to Enola yard from Harrisburg - here she is with a formally attired companion crossing Rockville Bridge.

Thanks for viewing.

Nice shot bro.  I never checked out (or noticed) that clump of flood debris on the other side of the bridge when we were there

Just an experiment - I've never been happy with the way my photos appear on TO - they never appear as sharp nor as vibrant as I see them.
I usually resize them to 1000px across, but I reread the Guidelines, and it says resize at a maximum 900px. with medium compression.

Uploading the same photo with these settings to see how it looks....

Looking at it, it looks the same  :-(    Hmmmm....

TO now accepts 1500 px and no compression. Compression will always may a photo look worse.

Okay - didnt know that.  The Guidelines still say max 900px wide.  Third time's a charm?

Edit:  Better - still not great though.
