Very much appreceated. Date: 02/20/21 21:02 Re: Looking for photos of FEC 662 Author: lapklub How about this one? In West Palm Beach on Nov 22, 1979. Had to dig a little but there are only a few that I don't have.

Tom Paris Houston TX Date: 02/21/21 19:07 Re: Looking for photos of FEC 662 Author: 8notch I could not find a photo of 662 but I do have a copy of the Trains magazine dated July 1996 and they did a nice piece on the FEC. The cover shows FEC GP40 #403. The article starts on page 34 and goes thru page 43 and on page 39 it does mention 662 was unavailable at sops in New Smyrna Beach shops at time of the article being written. The author of the article was a man named Jeffery A. Harrell. He lived in Weatherford Texas at that time. Maybe you could find him Thru the internet. He was 31 years old at that time. Good luck.
I did work for the FEC from Late 1981 to Early 1986 and had that engine on yard jobs and local job the Villa Rica Switcher. Robert in Lagrande Oregon Date: 02/21/21 21:17 Re: Looking for photos of FEC 662 Author: FEC-662 Thank you Michael, I have the same one and it a good one. I apprecate you digging and if you find another, please let me know. It very much appreceated.

Thank you for digging this one out. Its great. May I have your permission to use this one on our 662 page in Facebook? We have a few X-FEC employees who are enjoying these pictures and stories.
Ken Date: 02/21/21 21:48 Re: Looking for photos of FEC 662 Author: FEC-662 Thank you Robert. I will look for that one. I have a 662 page on Facebook and some of the old guard from New Smyrna and the road have joined. It's been fun to re connect. If you have any stories to share about your time running her, I would like to hear about it too. Thanks again for your time digging up the article. Very much appreciated.
