NKP 765 Comparison
Author: cornerfieldhobby

Here is something different I wanted to compare. This is video I recorded back in September 2014 of the NKP 765 on the CVSR in Boston Mill OH. The next video down is the Lionel Model Trains version of that, that I own which I run on Corner Field Model Railroad Museum. Anyway, thought it would be cool to compare the locomotive for features and of course the correct sound!!!

The model's whistle recording sounds like it was from before the 2005 restoration.

So good!  Just be sure the fireman doesn't get thrown off his seat and fall to the roadside on those curves.  😀

What a nice post.......lots of fun watching the two in operation. 765 is an Icon in teh world of current day stema engines  that are in service.  As for Lionel, I own a few of the Lionel Vison line locomotives, Hudsons in particular. Lionel has come a long was since the  hokey days of mechanical men throwing out milk cans and mail bags to producing some really first rate authentic products today.

Is that the Lionel sound system where Rich Melvin's voice was recorded and used in the program?
