Wow, two NC&StL references! I think those inboard roller bearing truck conversions are outlawaed for interchange, but okay for company service. I always thought those trucks would have value to museums because you could replace the journal covers and they would look authentic and still have the advantages of roller bearings. Rotating bearing caps on vintage freight cars or tenders just do not look right. === === = === JLH
