Eastern Railroad Discussion > RJ Corman NS 633/632 QuestionDate: 03/05/21 13:07 RJ Corman NS 633/632 Question Author: eastpenn23 What mines do NS coal trains 632/633 go to on the RJ Corman lines? It's no mans land up there, but it'd like to catch some coal (maybe with NS power, particularly the Reading HU right now) on the RJC. My understanding is that the interchange is in Keating, PA, but I'm not sure what happens in RJC territory. Thanks!

Unless something has changed recently, virtually the only coal loadings on the RJCP are in Clymer, PA. I do know those trains go out through Keating Summit, so that's likely your answer.
There were also some occasional loadings at Fallen Timber, but I believe those go out through Cresson. The timing of the Clymer trains varies widely. Sometimes there can be a couple in a week, and then they'll go a month without loading a train. Additional info from anyone else is welcome. Mike Derrick Edited 1 time(s). The only thing running was a coal train loading at Clymers.

There are numerous other loadouts on those lines around Clearfield but i have no feel for if any are active at all. Certainly it appears that when they do load it is sporadic.
