Sunny Sunday - March 7, 2021

1. NS 4307 and 4246 south on 30T at Worcester, NY between Schenectady and Binghamton, NY

2. Coming out of Cooperstown Junction and headed for Colliersville and Oneonta. The signal is 547.8.

3.  Passing an old colonial home between Wells Bridge and Unadilla that has undoubtedly seen the passage of every train ever run on this line and the survey crews that built it.

4. The 30T swings around the curve at Cannistra Crossing between Sidney and Bainbridge hugging Route 7 and showing off a clean appearance.

Great shots all.  Must be nice to be close enough to the action to work in these "unconventional" angles as opposed to the standard 3/4 wedge shots.  If you have to travel to get anywhere you don't want to lose "the" shot so most of us just go for the obvious. I certainly appreciate everything you have posted and thank you for sharing those with us.

I try to challenge myself creatively which is hard, but otherwise I'm just shooting "the shot" that is typical cookie cutter. I also strive to show more of how the train fits into the larger surroundings. Geography, community, historical, daily life and surroundings.
