Spring has sprung on the old I.C.

I went out with the cameras this morning when C.N. sent some traffic past my neighborhood.  The first scene is at Makanda, Illinois, and the second is just north of North Anna.  Both locations are on the former Illinois Central Centralia District.

Very picturesque area of the former IC, spring or fall! Over 30 curves in the 16 mile stretch between the Pleasant Hill road overpass at MP 311 (Makanda is close to MP 316) and the curve at North Anna just north of MP 327. Very nice share.
