Eastern Railroad Discussion > Industrial Railroading Baltimore Style + Extras.Date: 05/11/21 13:48 Industrial Railroading Baltimore Style + Extras. Author: Fire28 With a planned day off, I set off before sunrise in hopes of capturing the Canton Railroad in Baltimore switching select industries with a certain locomotive. As luck would have it, one of the industries I was hoping they'd switch got switched, however the locomotive I was after was not leading :(
Photo 1 Canton Crew 1 shoved a cut of box cars into the Ruckert Terminal with SW1500 #1501 leading. Photo 2 Having dropped the cut of boxcars off, crew 1 pulls a loan empty out. Seen crossing South Clinton St with the iconic Lehigh Cement facility in the background. Target locomotive SW1200RS #1204 trails 1501. Photo 3 After realizing they were not comnig back to switch the Lehigh Facility I made a mad dash to the Northeast Corridor to catch NS Y91 who was leaving Baltimore.
