Heading back to Asheville from Charlotte for work back on June 24th I managed to hit the Catawba River trifecta.  Heading up NC-16 I got word of an E759-24 departing Plant Marshall and managed to grab a quick drone shot of them crossing the Catawba River (Denver, NC) at Lake Norman on the Terrell sub.  After hearing word that NS 744 was departing Salisbury to head to Plant Marshall via the "AS line/Catawba spur with the 8102 leading, I headed for Catawba, NC and waited for about an hour to drone them crossing the Catawba river.

After catching 744 I headed for home, but in the back of my mind I remembered a K446 with a BNSF H2 leader that was called from Bostic on the Clinchfield.  I'd long figured it was way up the road while I waited on 744, but about 10 minutes from Marion I got word it was approaching Marion.  I quickly got to Lake James for a golden hour shot of it crossing the Catawba River.  These three shots span over 100 river miles between Marion, NC and Denver, NC.
