Eastern Railroad Discussion > Tried and true SD40-2’s on the Reading LineDate: 10/19/21 18:00 Tried and true SD40-2’s on the Reading Line Author: dschlegel While walking the first of my two beagles around the mean streets of Topton this evening I was treated to what I believe was the H44 with two SD40-2's. The engines and horn sounded great! Sorry for the somewhat shaky video, Lucy was tugging a bit at my heals.

Last night’s train was definitely longer than normal, as H44 usually runs with roughly 50 cars. There is a chance it wasn’t H44, in which case we’d need someone in the know to fill us in. Thanks!
