Sunday Doings Along Lake Erie
Author: train1275

Sunday November 28, 2021

Another gloomy day punctuated with harsh sun, chill air, wind and a touch of snow.

1. CN 5693 and 2575 are in harness on Train 316 on the NKP as they round the big curve past Beaver Park Marina on the east side of Lorain, OH.

2. And yes indeed it is a harsh light afternoon after a no sun morning as we check out the going-away view.

3.  Gloomy morning shot of Train 26E on the Chicago Line as it comes over Baumhart Road  entering Lorain with NS 9508, CP 8045 and NS 4468. A dusting of snow from the night before still highlights the scene. This guy was on the scene so quick I almost didn't have time to get out of the car and when I did I realized I had not turned on the camera.  A true grab shot, but I liked the red CP Rail unit in the scene.
