Eastern Railroad Discussion > The Rock in MississippiDate: 01/10/22 18:14 The Rock in Mississippi Author: srman Yeah I know it's the Mississippi Delta RR however in Sumner Ms. you wouldn't know it by what's sitting around. On January 5th I passed thru the area of northwestern Mississippi to discover a railroad that I never actually saw in real life. Beautifully restored to Rock Island colors a GE in the red and yellow and EMD's in the blue and white were looking good.

Rock island cannot use it north of Sumner until the tracks and bridge approaches are resurfaced and physical plant reconditioned on their “main” line.
Robert has a nice railroad. It’s turned out good for him. Posted from iPhone Date: 01/10/22 22:39 Re: The Rock in Mississippi Author: SOO6617 2127 looks like an ex-FNM Super-7 from Mexico, it is not a Dash-9.

Rock Island did some upgrades and classifies it as a C42-9. Dylan VanAntwerp Jesup, IA |
