NS H82
Author: TRACKENGR

I was listening to the scanner today, and an NS Train H82 came east on the NS Harrisburg Line and went into Abrams Yard to work.  I'm not sure what it did after that.
I'm not familiar with H82.  Is this a new train?

H82 has been around since 2019.  It's a Mo-Fr job based at Abrams and is profiled to work Conshohocken, Malvern, Plymouth Meeting, and Norristown.

Yesterday over lunch I heard H82 in Reading yard getting ready to head east for Abrams. It was a new symbol for me to hear working Reading.

There was some confusion with the train too, as Harrisburg East gave them permission to head east, and then the train Master told them to stop and pick up additional cars. Then the chief dispatcher told them not to pick up and to just head for Abrams. It sounded very unorganized and unplanned.
