Few from Atlanta, GA 1-14-22
Author: regmacSC

My first real day off since the holiday season, so went out to see what was going on around the Atlanta area.  Moving from Columbia, SC, was going through coal train withdrawal, as I haven't seen too many since moving to Atlanta besides the few times I've caught the NS Scherer Trains.  Arrived to see CSX T449 sitting at Howell and hearing they will be heading towards Hulsey shortly.  So set up for a shot of them at King Plow and then roamed around from there.

Shot 1  CSX T449 pulling through Howell Wye heading for the Georgia Sub with CSXT 3181 leading.
Shot 2  NS 372 comes through Howell Wye/King Plow heading towards Spring for a crew change.
Shot 3  NS 51R was running elephant style all long hood forward.  The crew took the lead unit, and spin at the wye as NS 282 heads towards Inman Yard.

NIce. Looks like quite the hot spot. Will have to remember this place if I ever visit Atlanta, one of the very few major cities in the country that I haven't spent any time in..
