Sun today with temps in the mid twenties and only a light breeze.

1. & 2.  An unusual Train 206 ran the Nickel Plate today with Union Pacific power, didn't look like the normal assortment of intermodal behind and he was really short. Caught by the lens here at Beaver Park Marina east of Lorain, OH with Lake Erie as a backdrop. Power was UP 9015 and 5431.

3. Next up we are now over on the Chicago Line down at the docks as an unknown intermodal highballs east with NS 3672 and 4117 as power. The ice is starting to break up although the temps are still way below freezing. The ice and water were making strange loud groaning sounds like some sort of ancient sea monster was underneath.
