Pan Am OCS FP9s prepping to leave home rails
Author: JPB

At 0805 on Monday June 20, 2022 CSX M427 (Portland ME to Selkirk Yard), rolled down to the end of the Pan Am's 10mph ex-B&M Worcester Main (route of the State of Maine, East Wind, and Bar Harbor Express back in the day) at Barber's on the north side of Worcester. Lead 3 AC4400s (needed for their ability to operate with either I-ETMS and ACSES PTC) would get fueled up, new crew would arrive a few hours later, and about 50 cars (C&D gons, empty centerbeams, and misc freight cars from Framingham) would be added at Worcester for the trip west across the B&A to Selkirk.
