Norfolk Southern has a building directly across the street from the Hopewell Fire Company. Most interesting a hit-and-run by train.

"No levers can be seen at the crossing...."  How funny is that?

Both NS and CSX are in that vicinity of Hopewell.

There are 3 tracks at that street crossing, 2 NS and 1 CSX. Photos show NS 742 as the locomotive involved.

I don't think there's much going on in Hopewell aside from a few locals.

This info is old, so it may not be accurate:

NS 161.250
CSX 161.100

These frequencies were only used for switching the industries in Hopewell, which are numerous. My notes don't have what the road channels were for the lines going into Hopewell.
