Eastern Railroad Discussion > Amtrak 29 Hit Lumber Truck in Brunswick, MDDate: 08/04/22 04:55 Amtrak 29 Hit Lumber Truck in Brunswick, MD Author: GPutz Yesterday, 8/3/22, about 17:00 hours, Amtrak 29 hit a lumber truck that was stopped on Maple Ave. across #1 Main in Brunswick, MD. The lumber truck was pushed into a smaller truck which was then pushed into the station, built in 1893 and now owned by the city. As I understand it there were no significant injuries. I don't know how much damage was done to the station. Apparently the lumber truck was stopped behind traffic. I have not been down to the station yet and have no pictures. There are some pictures published by the Frederick News-Post newspaper. Gerry
