CSX in Middle Georgia

NS definately have the most traffic through the Atlanta/Middle Georgia area, but CSX does still have a presence here.   A few shots from the past week around the Atlanta/Middle Georgia Area.

Shot 1:  A pair of CSX SD40E-3s work Howells Yard in downtown Atlanta.
Shot 2:  CSX L851 sits at the Rail Plant next to what used to be Tilford Yard.   All the tracks were removed, but there was a few put back in to serve as a Transflo Yard.
Shot 3:  CSX L838 pulls up next to the former depot in downtown Conyers with a pair of ES40DCs and a rare GP39-2 3rd out.  If you look at the depot, you see the herald of the Georgia Railroad.

Shot 4:  Anyone wants a Coca Cola?  After picking up some MOW cars and setting off CSXT 4310 in Conyers siding, L838 continues the rest of their journey towards Social Circle.
Shot 5  CSX GP39-2 4310 at Conyers
Shot 6: Loaded Crawfordville, GA grain train CSX G435 passes some older signals that are still in place along the Georgia Road at a location known as Sweetheart (just outside Conyers)

In photo 6, CSX is giving the ex-Georgia road some track love. Good to see. A few years ago at the peak of EHH PSR mania, this line seemed to be doomed to 25 mph, sale to a shortline operator, and/or partial abandonment.

Shot 2 shows a Tilford Yard I thought it would be the day it wasn't around anymore. Sad sight indeed.  Think the Car Shops and the NB Hump are where the new warehouse is seen in the shot. Thanks for sharing all the shots. Ben
