This segment of the line is used only for equipment moves to/from Lincoln, NH and for these Fall Foliage trains. Track runs from Laconia to Lincoln, NH and is owned by the State and run by the Hobo & Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad

Catching anything moving between Merideth and Thornton, where the Hobo Railroad and Cafe Lafayette trains reverse, is any extremely rare event.
