Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad

Last Saturday's Fall Foliage train ran from Meredith to Plymouth, New Hampshire.  This segment of the line is used only for equipment moves to/from Lincoln, NH and for these Fall Foliage trains.  Track runs from Laconia to Lincoln, NH and is owned by the State and run by the Hobo & Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad

Thanks for sharing this unusual operation!  Catching anything moving between Merideth and Thornton, where the Hobo Railroad and Cafe Lafayette trains reverse, is any extremely rare event.

Yes, it's a real shame a good portion of their line (former B&M White Mountain Branch) rarely sees trains outside of equipment moves.
