Fall is definitely upon us as cool nights followed by cooler mornings produce scenes like this if only for a few short hours. Glad I was in Massey yesterday to watch MDDE start its day. The task at hand was to serve Eastman Specialties in Worton, MD. The foggy, mist covered fields and Canadian geese in the sky to the left of the unique RS3m are signs of things to come.

I like that third shot! You really got it.

Your photos are great and I thank you for sharing them with all of us, GJP, CR2581.  Here are two photos from 1985 when the Maryland & Delaware Railroad operated some passenger excursions on the line from Clayton, Delaware down to Easton, Maryland, now a line that is no longer in use.  This was a beautiful line with many freight customers; however, for some unknown reason, the Maryland & Delaware gave up the route.  The two photos were taken in Easton, Maryland and unfortunately, the station there has since burned and was torn down, a real shame.

Perhaps the station should be renamed "Phoenix" (the bird from Greek mythology that rose from its own ashes)
