The calander says winter is still almost 5 weeks away, some one forgot to tell mother nature in western NY. This is NS 310, Elkhart to Binghamton manifest freight rolling through Dale NY, 35 miles east of Buffalo. I guess you could say this train escaped Buffalo in the nick of time as Buffalo is going to get dumped on in the next few days.

Wow .... that same group of power, Santa Fe, UP and NS went east within the last few days thru Elkhart, IN. 
Watched it via the web cams at Elkhart.

Winter is less than 2 weeks away if you ask the NWS and 3 days away if you as the Bills and the NFL.
Love the snow shots, nice to look at, a little difficult at times to live in.

it's the same train: NS 310 from Elkhart to Binghamton.

sabers, flyers, bills, eagles sixers and NASTY snow squalls in buffalo, that’s how i know winter is close
