Eastern Railroad Discussion > Wheeling as it should look (no dog's breakfast on this one)Date: 11/29/22 11:54 Wheeling as it should look (no dog's breakfast on this one) Author: EL833 In contrast to that "dog's breakfast" train I posted the other day was this stone empties at Akron, Ohio with three nice and clean company image SDs. The first photo shows the train backing up to access the CSX/WE interchange. It's on CSX rails and symboled Z641. Once the train got back on Wheeling track they put the train away at Summit Street (photo 2). Since nearby Valley Paper needed a switch the crew (an Akron Barberton Cluster crew) cut the lead motor away to go pull the customer (photo 3). All photos taken 11-23-2022.
Roger Durfee Akron, OH Date: 11/29/22 11:57 Re: Wheeling as it should look (no dog's breakfast on this one) Author: EL833 Once cut off the 7014 headed east to switch Valley.
Looking like a different train the 7021/7016 sits on the siding. Obligatory roster grab of the 7021. Roger Durfee Akron, OH Date: 11/29/22 12:33 Re: Wheeling as it should look (no dog's breakfast on this one) Author: train1275 Really Nice Work !

Thanks, John |
